Call of Duty 2023 Reveal Set for Early August; Will Launch on November 10: Report

Call of Duty 2023 is apparently planning a reveal for the first few days of August. According to Insider Gaming, Activision will unveil the newest installment in the renowned shooter series on August 1 through an in-game event. The publisher has already unveiled Vanguard and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War inside the first Warzone game, so the format isn't out of date. In spite of the lack of information, Sledgehammer Games was reportedly in charge of developing the future game, which is most likely not Modern Warfare 3.

Activision made news in 2017 when it announced that Call of Duty might forgo its yearly release cycle in 2023 in favour of a "always on" live-service mode. Then it was suggested that Call of Duty Modern Warfare II would get a premium expansion this year that would include both campaign DLC and a multiplayer "greatest hits map pack" with some old favourites from previous games. Currently, it appears that this content has developed into a stand-alone, full-priced videogame, acting as an extension that transfers over MW2's maps and game types. The beta sessions, campaign early access, and launch date for Call of Duty 2023 were also made public by Insider Gaming. However, bear in mind that anything might always change, so use caution when relying on this information.

The source claims that the unnamed Call of Duty game will have two beta testing weekends, the first of which would be exclusive to PlayStation gamers and span from October 6 to 10. The second weekend, which will supposedly take place from October 12 to 16, will feature PC and Xbox players as well. As per usual, an early entry to the campaign is anticipated; perhaps as a pre-order incentive on November 2. The complete Call of Duty 2023 launch appears to be targeting November 10 as the date.

However, bear in mind that anything might always change, so use caution when relying on this information..Treyarch's planned entry, which was previously said to have a two-year life cycle with pieces of fresh material coming occasionally, was instead moved from 2023 to 2024, breaking the pattern. The extension of Call of Duty MW2 described before fills the gap caused by the delay.

Last month saw the start of Season 3 of the ongoing Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, which includes new operators, a new Gulag, and two premium maps: Black Gold and Pelayo's Lighthouse. The latter has a helipad, a number of maintenance facilities, and is situated on an island with a lighthouse at its core. In February, the Call of Duty League (CDL)-approved game modes for ranked play were

also added.
